Remembering Yuri Gagarin: The First Man To Travel To Outer Space.

Hello everyone and todays article is about Yuri Gagarin who was the first man to travel to outer space. Yuri Gagarin was born on March 9, 1934 in The Soviet Union. He was a pilot in The Soviet Air Force Service and is best known for being the first man to successfully travel to outer space and safely return to Planet Earth. On April 12, 1961 Yuri Gagarin made history when he became the first man to travel to outer space in the Vostok 1 Mission where he spent approximately 1 hour and 48 minutes in outer space. Unlike Alen Shepard who become the 1st American man to travel to outer space after Yuri Gagarin became the 1st man in history to travel to outer space; Yuri Gagarin completed an orbit around the Earth even before John Glen later become the 1st American man to circle the Earth in a spacecraft. After Yuri Gagarin become the first man in history to travel to outer space and circle the earth in a spacecraft he was promoted to the rank of Colonel in The Soviet Air Force. Sadly on March 27, 1968 at the age of 34 Yuri Gagarin passed away when he was involved in a deadly place crash. Even though Yuri Gagarin only lived to be 34 years old his legacy lives on forever as the man who became the first human in the history of the world to accomplish the milestone of being the first man to travel to outer space. Rest in Peace Yuri Gagarin. Thank you for reading and God Bless.
